2015 seems to be the year of Damon Albarn begrudgingly making up with former bandmates. Not only has the Blur frontman apparently spoken to artist Jamie Hewlett long enough to construct a comeback for the pair’s fictional band Gorillaz in just the first month of this year, but the britpop icon has kept up with the reunion of Blur long enough to see the band spawn their first new material in 16 years, an album going by the name of The Magic Whip.
The album is due for release on 24 April via Parlophone and will feature 12 tracks with the most Blur of titles, including ‘Lonesome Street’, ‘I Thought I was a Spaceman’, and ‘I Broadcast’.
