The 26th annual edition of Byron Bay’s Bluesfest has revealed its second lineup installment which treats fans to a very special reunion that will see Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals performing together for the first time in seven years.

The festival, which takes place over the Easter long weekend from Thursday April 2 through until Monday April 6, will be the newly reunited bands only Australian performance. Also joining the lineup which already includes The Black Keys, Alabama Shakes and Zac Brown Band are Paolo Nutini, David Gray, Ben Howard, Counting Crows and Mavis Staples.

The highly anticipated set from Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals is scheduled in for Sunday April 5. The band are no strangers to Bluesfest, having placed there last in 2007 just one year before they decided to take a break. However punters at the 2011 event got to see a last minute impromptu performance from The Innocent Criminals instead of the billed act, Ben Harper’s other band, Relentless 7.

Tickets are available now through the Bluesfest website. You can check out the lineup so far below.
