Seminal purveyors and trailblazers of neo-psychedelic rock The Brian Jonestown Massacre are set to return to Australian shores for a string of shows all across the country throughout June 2018. Touring on the back of their 17th studio album Something Else, the prolific group will be hitting up all the capital cities, while also performing some rare regional shows, and featuring as part of Vivid Sydney.
“The Brian Jonestown Massacre are a wildly original and thrilling live band who have built a career out of prioritising art over commercial compromise. This maverick approach continues to sustain their relevance to a generation of music lovers,” explains Stephanie Ferris of Vivid Sydney. The prolific group, led by the unpredictable Anton Newcombe are known for their bombastic and infectious live performances. They’ve released five live albums, documenting their ever changing and expanding live show.
