Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinemas are back with a bang this November, once again bringing music by day and movies by night to Melbourne’s St Kilda Beach.
Movies will be screened from Monday through to Sunday this season, as well as live music every Saturday and Sunday from an array of Melbourne’s best up-and-coming artists.
There’s a flavour for all filmophiles this year, with an assortment of the latest and greatest releases due to light up the big outdoor screen, including The Walk, new Bond flick Spectre, Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg drama Bridge of Spies, a Clueless 20th Anniversary Screening and Back to the Future 30th Anniversary Screening.
The best local Melbourne acts are also set to perform at the event, with Melbourne artist Ariela Jacobs kicking off the season, before Stonefox, JR Reyne & The Val, HOWQUA and Chris Watts take over the sunset stage in later weeks.
With deckchairs, bean loungers and blankets available for hire, a touch of comfort can be easily added to a night under the stars, and Ben & Jerry’s famous ice cream will be cooling down the balmy Melbourne evenings with a range of dairy delights.
Melbourne is the fourth stop of the nationwide Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinemas tour which will go on to excite audiences in Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide and Perth.
