Grammy award-winner and folk-rock connoisseur Beck is back after a hell of a year with his new single, ‘Dreams‘, the perfect faux-summer anthem to help us all deal with the drudgery that is winter.
After knocking off Beyonce and Sam Smith to win the ‘Album of the Year’ at this year’s Grammy Awards for the beautifully melodic Morning Phase, the music chameleon has taken a sonic 180-degree turn, pumping out a pop-rock tune that’s infectiously catchy.
Along with Beck, the track features the vocal and instrumental handiwork of long-time collaborator Greg Kurstin, and the songwriting talents of Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt.
In true Beck form, the musician has yet again delivered something new, fresh and out of left field. One thing we do know – Beck is on a roll that even Kanye can’t stop!
Dreams is out now via Fonograf Records.
