With their sixth and seventh albums, Rubber Soul and Revolver, Brit-pop hit makers The Beatles made musical history.

In keeping with the legacy, the forthcoming Australian tribute show Rubber Soul/Revolver will be a world-first live performance of both albums – back to back – in track order.

Husky Gawenda, Jordie Lane, Kiwi troubadour Marlon Williams and KINGSWOOD frontman Fergus Linacre are hot names in the Australian music scene. With backgrounds in folk, rock, indie, alt-country and a mutual love of The Beatles, the new Fab Four will perform both albums in full across Australia in July and August.

Backing them will be a dozen of Australia’s finest musicians, who already have to their credit the concerts Let it Be, Beatles Back to Back (Abbey Road and Sergeant Pepper), The White Album Concert and the orchestra show All You Need is Love, led by musical director Paul Gray.

This unique live concert is superbly presented with state of the art sound production and no gimmicks – just the music.

Experience faithful recreations of all the favourites, with Rubber Soul hits ‘Norwegian Wood’, ‘Michelle’, ‘Drive My Car’, Nowhere Man’ and ‘In My Life’, and Revolver gems ‘Eleanor Rigby’, ‘Taxman’, ‘Yellow Submarine’ and ‘Got To Get You Into My Life’ to name a few.
