New Zealand’s The Clean have announced that synth punks Ausmuteants will be joining them for their final Melbourne show ever, along with a DJ set from jangly guitar brothers (and sister) in arms Twerps. The two join the lineup alongside Lower Plenty, a Melbourne indie rock band consisting of members from UV Race, The Focus, Deaf Wish, and Total Control, plus the proto-punk juggernaut that is The Clean.
The shows are part of The Clean’s first Australian tour in five years, which frontman David Kilgour has hinted at being the last shows the band will ever play. Included in these shows is the band’s first trip to Perth in their 35-year long career. Tickets are available at the Corner Hotel website.
