FBi Radio is currently recruiting ‘legends’ to volunteer at the long-running community station.
Applications are now open for volunteer spots at the Sydney radio channel in all areas of media including presenting, event management, website maintenance, writing, graphic design, organising the music library and sound engineering. Volunteer work will entail at least one unpaid half day per week for a minimum of six months, with the possibility of media training at the station’s Sydney base.
Applicants of all ages are welcome — however, it is essential that all people who apply are FBi Supporters (members of the station). FBi Radio is entirely not-for-profit and sits among Australia’s few remaining independent youth stations, having been around for a little over 10 years. The station has seen the likes of triple j’s Dom Alessio and Dan Buhagiar, as well as SBS’s Marc Fennell, rise through its ranks throughout the years to gain commercial success.
Applications close at 5 pm on November 21st. Click here for more information about volunteering and possible openings at the station for skilled services.
