The sibling maestros of Australian folk will this summer play their second national tour together since ending a lengthy hiatus earlier in the year. What separates this tour from the last, however, is their choice of venues. While the tour will mostly be contained to cities, the pair will grace the stages of some of Australia’s most iconic venues, including Brisbane’s Riverstage, Perth’s Botanic Gardens, and the forecourt of The Sydney Opera House as part of the venue’s ‘On The Steps’ concert series.
Angus & Julia Stone reunited for the release of their self-titled third album, which was produced by American production wiz/co-founder of Def Jam Records Rick Rubin. Numerous festival appearances have come to flavour their reformation, including a show at Splendour In The Grass festival back in July. They’re currently performing an extensive America tour which has seen them pack some of the country’s largest music halls to capacity.
They’ll be joined on their February tour by London-via-Australia dream pop outfit Cloud Control, as well as singer-songwriter Jarryd James.
