Australia’s Adidas wielding export Alison Wonderland is back with her latest video for ‘Games’, the fourth single from her internationally praised debut album Run.

Although widely renowned for her production of party inducing bangers, ‘Games’ shows a delicate side to the DJ/producer/singer unaccustomed to many.

Having established a successful and like minded partnership, Wonderland and director Prad Sen developed a short visual that is equally parts playful and poignant. A clear objective of the duo appears to be the desire to evoke a significant sense of sombreness and thoughtfulness in the audience throughout the clip.

Shot in one take, the film clip depicts Wonderland winning multiple sporting events. Yet with all the triumph and glory, no emotion is felt by Wonderland. In addition to the lyrical content and the melodic theme throughout the track, the bittersweet message of success is further intensified by Wonderland’s severe apathy.

Be sure to catch the sweetheart of Australian electronic music at the end of the month, touring as one of the headliners for the national Listen Out festival throughout Oz.
