The Australian music industry’s top exports clinked glasses at the 2014 APRA awards last night, as some of the scenes biggest names took home awards for their musical efforts over the last 12 months.

There was no denying Triple J favourite Vance Joy of yet another title, as he snatched the illustrious Song Of The Year crown for his uke strong track ‘Riptide’, adding to his Pop Work Of The Year titled he received earlier in proceedings.

The Flume juggernaut has no stall in sight, with the young indie dance sensation picking up the award he was made for in Dance Work Of The Year with ‘Holdin On’.

Heroine worldbeater Lorde picked up Outstanding International Achievement Award alongside Joel Little, with fellow female pop talent Sia picking up Song Writer Of The Year.

Watch all the action from the awards on MAX from Wednesday 9 July at 8pm, with an encore presentation at 10pm on Sunday 13 July. The encore screening will also feature performances from Sheppard,Kirin J Callinan and Megan Washington.
