Earlier this year, Philadelphian folk rocker Kurt Vile announced an extensive Australian solo tour, hopping on the summer festival circuit for 2017 and playing the Zoo Twilights series, plus a stack of other dates around the country. But the artist has now unveiled a new date to add to the list: an intimate show at the out-of-the-way Meeniyan Town Hall on Sunday March 5.

Vile‘s lo-fi country-folk songs have always felt like a close and personal encounter, and even the musician himself has said of his latest album b’lieve i’m goin down… that “wanted it to feel like I was on a couch in a familiar living room even if I was somewhere else. To me, it’s sort of that home vibe that I had to capture somehow…to make it sound like it was played there in the room.”

By trading out some cramped, edgy inner city venue for a charming country town hall, Kurt Vile is bound to evoke that exact feeling within his fans when they go see him at the traditional Meeniyan Town Hall. Grab your tickets here.
