KLP — aka Sydney artist Kristy Lee Peters — has gathered some very cool people to create a visual accompaniment for new single ‘Recover‘ ft. Remi. The weekend’s come early for this one.

Director James Chappel throws in flares, fireworks and Sydney’s graffti-covered backstreets to set the scene of a street party. However, that’s not what you’ll be looking for: some pretty impressive people, including Peking Duk, Art Vs. Science, Alex Dyson (triple j breakfast) Set Mo, L-Fresh the Lion, Sophie Lowe, Jess Kent, Nes, Hau, Miracle, DJ Ziggy, Helena Ellis and of course, Remi make cameo appearances throughout the clip. Have a look (and see if you can spot everyone!) above.

The street party suits the Friday night vibe of this track to a T. KLP’s done what she does best: created a club-ready banger, complete with a bass drop and super slick synths. Remi’s collab makes it sweeter still, with his signature touch towards the end of the track.

KLP’s talents extends beyond songwriting: she’s a tastemaker on triple j’s House Party each week, as well as DJ, working with the likes of What So Not, Skirllex, Paces and Slumberjack. With her live band, she’ll take to the road next month as Neon Indian’s main support. Honestly, what can’t KLP do?

“Recover” is out now on EMI.
