If there’s anything hot about the Melbourne music scene right now, it’s King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard stirring a big ol’ pot of psychedelic chaos. Trippy beats and impulsively repetitive chants, ‘Hot Water‘ is the newest single to be released from the band’s upcoming sixth release I’m In Your Mind Fuzz.  The track is not only sports bass-popping riffs and breathy vocals, but a fabulous amount of flute serenading similar to the Ron Burgundy flute-solo-turn-jazz scene in Anchorman. Nevertheless, the track marks a solid effort from the Melbourne misfits and gets your blood pumped in less than four minutes.

I’m In Your Mind Fuzz is out October 31st via Flightless/Remote Control and is available for pre-order via www.kinggizzardandthelizardwizard.com. You can listen to ‘Hot Water’ below:
