French-Cuban duo Ibeyi, have announced their debut to Australia for early next year. The twin sisters, Lisa-Kaindé Diaz and Naomi Diaz, are already mid-way through a world tour at the age of 20 and are set to add Australia to the list in March 2016!

With their self-titled album released on XL Recordings earlier this year, the duo are keen to showcase their immersive and spellbinding material to their fans Down Under. Ibeyi was warmly received by music reviewers for Pitchfork and Sydney Morning Herald, to name a few, with its combination of ritual chants, synths and jazz vocals – which are sung in English, French and Yoruban (a Nigerian language of their ancestors). Fun fact: Ibeyi means twins in Yoruban dialect.

Ibeyi will perform headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane as well as appearances at the Perth Festival and WOMADelaide.
