Indie pop trio, Foster The People, have just dropped a free download of their new song ‘The Unforeseeable Fate Of Mr. Jones’ via BitTorrent.

It’s the first we’ve heard from the American band since their 2014 album Supermodel.

The new track is a little different from their usual up-beat pop sound. It’s got a laid back 70’s rock vibe with abstract lyrics that are half sung and half spoken by frontman Mark Foster.

The free package also includes previously released track ‘Ruby’ and the artwork for the single.

You can have a listen to ‘The Unforeseeable Fate Of Mr. Jones’ and download it for free here.
