The most eclectic, multi-talented pop visionary of our generation FKA Twigs, has revealed her latest interdisciplinary extended play, titled M3LL155X.

Following the success of releases EP1 and EP2, the M3LL155X EP continues Twigs’ incredible back catalogue of releases that combine explorational songwriting, a highly influential performance factor, and visuals that both broaden genres and break traditional modes of production and reception.

The five-track EP is accompanied by a 16-minute self-directed video of four songs: ‘Figure 8′‘I’m Your Doll’‘In Time’‘Glass & Patron’, in a multi-sensory experience that is – in true FKA Twigs fashion – simultaneously creepy, confronting, and stunning.

The EP in most part, was made not long after the release of Twigs’ debut record LP1 in a creative meet-up in New York with BOOTS, a new collaborator of Twigs, as well as past collaborators tic and Cy An. A few days later BOOTS and Twigs had the majority of the EP laid down and recorded.

M3LL155X explores new and exciting territories for the British singer, songwriter, producer and dancer, making the EP her most holistic and innovative yet.

M3LL155X is out now via Young Turks / Remote Control Records. You can watch the four-piece film below.
