It’s pretty tough carving your own sound out in a genre that is as loud as hip-hop but Remi has more than cemented himself as one of the freshest and hardest working MC’s in the Australian scene, and we’d argue the world.
2. Paces
Oozing swag, Gold Coast producer Paces is showing no sign of slowing down, and why would the banger-producing prodigy. Here’s to a fire New Year for him, starting at Field Day.
3. Vera Blue
Who doesn’t love folk melded with emotive electronica? Vera Blue has created a world of her own and we’re all invited.
4. Client Liason
Client Liason are the whole package. Talented musicians, style icons, and should be, our ambassadors to the world.
5. Alison Wonderland
The floor-filling bangers that this lady can produce more than earns her a spot in our top five, the fact that she is also a celebrated cellist and bass player, cements it.
