Three day music and culture conference LISTEN has booked its dates and first round of guests for this year’s Feminist Futures event, which will discuss topics from both the music and gender realms.

Spearheading the event, writer and feminist activist Clementine Ford, along with performer and activist Alok Vaid-Menon of DarkMatter. The key areas up for discussion at the event’s second incarnation are unsurprisingly feminism, creativity, intersections within communities, writing, performance and more.

The conference champions itself as an inclusive event, offering affordable ticket prices with a variety of options as well as Auslan interpreting, childcare services, and disability access. Ticket options include one day and three tickets with 10% of ticket sales being donated to Warriors of the Aboriginal Resistance and Sisters & Brothers NT.

The three day conference kicks off October 14 at Bella Union, Carlton South, Melbourne. Details regarding panels and forums, including newly added guest speakers will be released in the coming weeks.
