Buckle yourself in for one hell of a release, Fat Freddy’s Drop have announced their new album Bays. Due for release on Friday 23 October 2015 via The Drop / Remote Control Records, fans can expect a tracklist of slow-burning funk; dominated by their hybridisation of reggae, jazz and impulsive techno rhythms.

Returning after their soldout shows at the Sydney Opera House earlier this year, the band are also making their way back down under between February 2016 for their biggest showcase yet. “It’s been a more creative process writing this album in the studio rather than recording songs which have been well road-tested”, Freddy’s vocalist Joe Dukie noted in their press release, nodding to first lifted single release ‘Slings And Arrows’. Excuse me, I’ve got to bump to this.
