With only a few short weeks until the kick-off of one of the most anticipated festivals of the year, Fairgrounds Festival has just unveiled the set times across their two stages.
Held in Berry, New South Wales, the festival site will soon play host to some of Australia’s best as well as a select group of international acts. With a promise of world class music, mouth watering local cuisine and of course – boutique beer and wine, the debut of the Fairgrounds Festival is set to impress.
Opening the festival on the Fairgrounds Stage are local Sydney outfit, Shining Bird. The 45 minute set will be the last of their string of shows across Australia and is bound to be the ultimate send off. Other acts that are hitting the main stage include Methyl Ethel, C.W Stoneking, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Royal Headache, Mercury Rev, Meg Mac and Father John Misty.
Brooklyn based, Ratatat will have the divine pleasure of closing the festival as a part of their Australian tour. After releasing their fifth studio album, Magnifique, the duo are sure to have fans awaiting a live look at their new material.
Also featured at Fairgrounds Festival is the Newtown Social Club Stage that will see local talents including Adam Gibson and the Ark-Ark Birds, Ben Abraham, Le Pie and Jessica Pratt.
With a blend of emerging Australian acts, home-grown heroes and international heavyweights, Fairgrounds Festival will have something for everyone.
