A new exhibition featuring the works of Melbourne photographer Greg Holland is set to launch in November, featuring the Melbourne-based lens whiz’s best live music photography from his first year as a professional photographer.
Year One not only documents the journey of someone who picked up a camera and discovered a passion, but it also showcases the magic of live music photography and its ability to capture the sweetest, emoti0n filled and intense moments of your favourite gig.
Holland first stumbled into gig photography in an effort to help his housemate’s band, and now, more than a year down the track, he has made a name for himself as a one of the country’s most renowned shooters.
And what good would a live music photography exhibition be without live music? Singer-songwriter Hannah Cameron will also appear for an intimate performance at the launch party, locked in for November 4 at Ours Creative.
