Introducing Dornik: straight out of London town, he’s the British answer to Frank Ocean, The Weeknd and Miguel combined.
Flying the progressive R&B flag up in the cold north, he’s now released his brand new single ‘Drive‘, off his upcoming self-titled album due for release August 14th.
From his first note, Dornik exhibits the soft hiccups and falsetto harmonies of Michael Jackson, that paired perfectly with the silky smooth combination of synths and electric guitar.
It’s a sweet, chill number mixed by the legendary Russ Elevado, the man we can thank for D’Angelo’s ‘Voodoo‘ and many other tracks by The Roots, Erykah Badu and Rick Rubin.
