Dan Sultan‘s performance for Melbourne Zoo Twilight Series’ last Friday 13th was meant to be an electric showcase of the singers thundering vocals. But it was the weather that stole the show and rained out the nights plans with an electrical storm. We’re not that superstitious but it was Freaky Friday so perhaps they took a gamble.
However, not dampening anyone spirits (pun intended), the singer has rescheduled his performance for Thursday 5th March with support artist Benny Walker.
With six remaining shows, the wonderfully diverse Zoo Twilights line-up offers plenty of options for a wide and varied musical palate; spanning rock n’ roll, indie, folk, disco, blues, reggae, Afro-funk, Bollywood and many more crowd favorites including The Budos Band and The Bombay Royal, Spiderbait, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, Conor Oberst and the Village People, as well as gourmet food, leisurely picnicking.
All proceeds raised donated towards the on-going conservation of the Eastern Barred Bandicoot – a species now considered extinct in the wild.
Any current ticket holders are able to access the show by presenting their existing ticket at the March 5 show. Alternatively, ticket holders can request a request a refund by downloading a form from the Melbourne Zoo’s website or by phoning 1300 966 784 between 9am and 5pm. Refunds are available until Friday 27 February.
