Welcome back to Earth! The Delta Riggs have dropped radically funky-fresh new track, ‘Surgery Of Love’. Sounding as though it were the musical lovechild of N*E*R*D and The Rolling Stones, ‘Surgery Of Love’ is the first from the band since the release of last year’s Dipz from the Zong EP, and their last studio album, Dipz Zebazois.

A departure from their usual sound, ‘Surgery Of Love’ is dirty disco and rock ‘n’ roll all in one. From the cow bell-like drumbeat to the screechy, sexy “I can’t stop” courtesy of lead singer Elliot Hammond, ‘Surgery Of Love’ is gritty and seductive, to say the least. The Delta Riggs transport us to the 1970s with the first taste of their upcoming third album.

However, the full force of the ‘Riggs new sound isn’t just in the new track itself – the ‘Surgery Of Love’ music video is the perfect accompaniment. Think: if guy-liner made love to Rod Stewart, in the most kick-ass, perfect, simplistic way possible.

And if that wasn’t enough, The Delta Riggs have also announced a series of Back To Earth Parties with The Pretty Littles, and I Oh You DJ’s starting this month.
