David Bowie has announced that he will be releasing a version of ‘Heroes’ on limited edition blue vinyl. Sung in French. 2008 compilation album i Select is also being released on limited edition coloured vinyl but has avoided the translation.
“Why?” I hear you ask. I don’t think anybody really knows the answer but the release does coincide with the opening of the David Bowie Is Exhibition at the Philharmonie de Paris. The retrospective exhibition explores Bowie‘s 50-year career and features more than 300 personal objects.
The ‘Heroes’ re-release is limited to 2000 copies only available in France but fans have the chance to win a copy through David Bowie‘s website so if you’d like to get your hands on a copy, you’d better keep an eye out.
