Melbourne DIY ruckus The Burning Roaches create handfuls of abrasive and grunge-laden fuzz. Drawing inspiration from ’90s punk nostalgia, the band revealed the first taste of their self-titled debut EP in 2015. Dripping in gritty riffs and a twangy attitude, the past year was soent recording and writing; ‘Bad Things’ giving fans and new listeners the depth to dive in, kick and scream. Opening up about their new EP, The Burning Roaches have noted their favourite elements of each track in a burning track by track!
Feeling Real Good
Solid garage drumming meets jangling guitars as the song sweats catchy melodies we can sing along with, written for a friend that was suffering from depression.
My Only Prize
Drawing on experiences of being a street-sweeper and living in decrepit share housing, My Only Prize is dark and moody with a punchy chorus; a headbangers delight.
‘Bad Things’ is the life and bad times of being a broke ass uni student mooching of your girlfriend. It’s raw and fuzzed up with an expressively noisey finish.
Shivering On Fire
Trippers have something to say. What exactly? Who knows, but the riffs are huge..
