Long time Cut Copy member Ben Browning has been dropping the bass (literally) of late, to work on his solo project, with his latest instalment – new single ‘Friends Of Mine’ – marking his territory as a sure shot talent to watch.
Lifted from his debut LP Turns which is set for release on June 16, ‘Friends Of Mine’ is a catchy upbeat disco teaser, channelling 70s synth driven pop that proves the bassist’s skills extend beyond the guitar, and that his versatility as a producer is a force to be reckoned with.
To celebrate the single’s release, and in anticipation of the drop of Turns, Browning has announced a run of shows in the US where he will hit up nine cities across the states, for a bit of a boogie in what is sure to be a fun filled live set.
