The artists will share the stage with industry heavyweights from triple J, AU Review and The Music among others, who will be delivering the summit’s conference events.

Canadian artists A Tribe Called Red, Charlie A’Court, Jenn Grant and Irish Mythen will feature in the mix, with the Canadian Independent Music Association and East Coast Music Association set to host this year’s Canadian Blast at ANW.

ANW director Geoff Trio said he was really excited about the partnership. “”By opening this opportunity for Canadian artists we will aim to work on reciprocal deals for Australian acts in Canada and other international markets which we hope will result in tour swaps and collaborations in writing, recordings etc,” he said.

Australian Music Week is a new music festival come industry conference, featuring the rising stars of the music world from November 18 – 22.
