Australian Music Week (AMW) have just announced the first round of 30 artists confirmed for the brand new music summit held this November.

AMW will run across 5 days, featuring an exciting range of diverse cultures, genres, panels, master classes, celebrity interviews, breakout sessions, workshops and live showcases throughout the many venues located within the central CBD/Esplanade of Cronulla.

Last week’s reveal saw a total of 47 of Australia’s leading industry speakers which included representatives from record labels, producers, touring and companies, triple j, The Australian, The Music, Umbrella and many more.

Also announced last week was key speaker Ted Gardner. The Australian-born tycoon has been apart of on some incredible projects, including acting Road Manager for Men at Work, and working alongside acts such as Echo & The Bunnymen, The Sugarcubes, New Order, and Frank Zappa. Along with his wife, Ted has managed the likes of Jane’s Addiction, Tool, The Verve, HUM, The Geraldine Fibbers and Queens Of The Stone Age.

The Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA) has also partnered with fellow Canadian body, East Coast Music Association (ECMA), to create a unique showcasing opportunity for two CIMA and two ECMA artist members to perform at Australian Music Week.
