Sunshine Coast, brace yourselves. The first ever Maroochy Music and Visual Arts Festival is coming to Maroochydore, Queensland, and it’s kicking off with a bang.
The massive lineup features the likes of Brisbane indie darlings and ARIA Awards winners DZ Deathrays, upcoming quadruple threat Harts, and electronic duo Hermitude, who this week sit atop the ARIA charts with their latest album Dark Night Sweet Light. Who’s headlining, you ask? That’s a secret, but festival organisers hint that it’s one of the Australia’s hottest acts, having come off a tour of some of the world’s biggest festivals of the past year.
To round out the boutique extravaganza are visual artists Amanda Parer, whose work was featured at Sydney’s Vivid Festival in 2014, Bertie Blackman and Conrad Square.
