Close to her target than ever before, Melbourne musician Ali E is putting the final call out to help her materialise her latest EP. Outlining the story of of recording her 6-track EP with producer and engineer Anna Laverty at Sing Sing South, “the EP is a collection of songs I’ve written over the past couple of years and includes heaps of guest appearances from other musos in the Melbourne music scene including Anna Gordon (Mangelwurzel, Barons of Tang), Bez and Giuls (Twin Beasts), Jess Ribeiro, Lucy Rash (Tantrums, Forest Falls), Rich Davies (King Wolf, The Devils Union), Katie Scott and Matt Storey (Howl at the Moon), and Ceci Dowling (Hoy).

With pledges going directly into the pre-sale of vinyl and CDs, the amount you donate will be rewarded as something you can physically hold on to. With most of the money going towards vinyl pressing (“That stuff ain’t cheap!”), it’s a great cause to get behind to support a local musician trying to get their head above water. On top of this, Ali E is donating 20% of the target amount to Animals Australia, because well, animals rule.
