Albert Hammond Jr. is heading our way for his first Australian headline tour, showcasing his new solo album Momentary Masters. The Strokes guitarist has finished his first solo project in five years and is sure to deliver garage rock goodness to the masses.
The tour will just about cover the country with shows at The Gov in Adelaide, Woolly Mammoth in Brisbane, Oxford Art Factory in Sydney, and the Corner Hotel in Melbourne.
Momentary Masters follows on from his debut solo 2006 LP Yours To Keep and 2008’s ¿Cómo Te Llama?. His new project was produced by Gus Oberg, who previously worked on The Strokes’ Angels and Comedown.
The record is available through Infectious/Liberator and you can catch him at these dates in your nearest city.
