I don’t know about you, but this time of year is incredibly overwhelming. With due dates, number crunching, sales, assignments and exams stacking up, there’s only really one thing to look forward to. And yes, this is a little hyperbole on my behalf, but oh man, festival season can be intense. From St. Jerome’s Laneway, Sugar Mountain, Beyond The Valley and Falls, the list goes on. Naturally, you probably are scrounging about; organising mates, travel and while we’re being honest, the cash. With this all in mind, sideshows can be a blessing to see that artist you’ve been playing on repeat – ‘Hey QT’, anyone? Here’s our top picks (so far) to get you feeling your way around the start of 2015.
