The multi-talented KLP has today released the official video to accompany her third single of the year, dreamy summer tune ‘Never Be The Same’. The track is the third in KLP’s ambitious mission to deliver new music every three months.

The video clip was shot on location in LA and saw KLP work with her brother, Andrew James Peters using an old Hi8 camcorder, which they ordered online. The siblings got up very early one morning and shot all the footage used in the clip, cruising around LA in secret getaway spots. KLP also then worked with renowned Australian artist Ego to add lyric highlights and colour red visuals to the clip.

On the track, KLP said “All it takes is one moment, one slip of trust, one crack in the connection, and from then on everything has changed, it will never be the same.”

Releasing house funk number ‘Changes’ in June, then the dance groove ‘Melt’ in September, ‘Never Be The Same’ follows in a constant line of crowd-pleasers. The new single is a mix of electronic laden melodies and bright synths accompanied by KLP’s subtle verses, bursting into an emotive chorus and all strung together with a powerful hook. The tune invokes sun-drenched summer drives, contrasting with the harsh reality of the lyrics.

The track is produced by One Above aka ARIA Award winner producer Andrew Burford who has previously produced hits for the likes of Hilltop Hoods, Montaigne, Drapht, Allday and Illy. With high profile co-writes with worldwide names from Skrillex to What So Not to REMI, KLP has also stamped out her own path with her solo releases. Verifying her performance abilities, her recent ‘Melt’ tour as well as ‘Mix Match’ and KLParty tours in 2015 and 2016 were all hugely successful with KLP and friends enthralling crowds around the country.
