Melbourne based indie-folk music siblings Jesse and Emily Lubitz along with fellow band mateAlex Burkoy have announced they have signed with Select Music, just in time for their new European and Australian headline tour.

Nicely warmed up from performance in Germany, France and Spain whilst supporting The Cat Empire, the trio is set to tour in their own right across Australia in mid-January and throughout March, and Europe throughout most of March. Tinpan Orange’s return to Europe seems inevitable as their previous album Love Is a Dog helped the Melbourians’ velvety violin melodies and light, flittering vocals earn rave reviews across the continent.

There is no doubt that this highly anticipated international tour will feature Tinpan Orange’s new single ‘See You in the Water’. Emily’s heavenly vocals and the smooth and effortless use of Burkoy’s violin.  Radiofabrik rightly deems it “An album that turned love into music.” With increasing affluence and ability to play with the power to play with power of music, this folk trio is well on the way to setting the tone of Indie music for a long time to come.
