Australian darling and singer-songwriter wunderkind Sia will be releasing a Christmas album later this year.
The holiday LP will be her first release following the ‘Chandelier’ singer’s move from RCA to Atlantic Records earlier this summer. In fact, the new album – a collection of original holiday songs, composed by Sia and long-time collaborator Greg Kurstin – will be the first studio release by Sia in nearly two years.
She’s kept herself busy, however, contributing to the soundtracks for two films (Lion and Wonder Woman) and releasing collaborations with both Diplo and Zayn Malik. The chance of more all-star collaborations on her new album are very high. According to Sports Betting Dime, Kelly Clarkson is the most likely (2/3) as she and Sia have worked together previously, and she also signed to Atlantic this year. Other Atlantic artists we could see collaborating include: Bruno Mars (3/2) and Coldplay (5/4).
For sure the artist who is most likely going to be featured on Sia’s Christmas album is undoubtedly Kelly Clarkson.
If her past successes are any indication, Sia’s first holiday album will be sitting pretty atop many a Christmas list this year.
