After dominating worldwide and in Sydney, artist development program Red Bull Sound Select is finally set to hit Melbourne on June 29th. The aim of Sound Select is to select regional tastemakers to curate a music evening for their local scene – bringing together up-and-comers with established artists.
To kick things off in Melbourne, Chapter Music are curating a night of punk at The Gasometer. Headlining the evening are Tyrannamen, with support coming from Sex Drive and Miss Destiny. And in a much-needed dose of female talent, DJs Psychedelic Coven (Jenny Branagan and Kate Reid) will be DJing throughout the evening.
The event will continue monthly, with lineups chosen in turns by Chapter Music, I OH YOU, and Laneway Festival.
