Bobby Bravington and Caitlin Perry make up Melbourne duo Longterm Romance and their new single ‘Baby Bye Bye’ is a dense, almost Gothic alternative track with driving drum beats and intense atmosphere that just oozes cool.

The accompanying music video for ‘Baby Bye Bye’ features plenty of neon lights, silk jackets and stylish shots of the duo. The video, which was directed by Geoffrey O’ Connor and styled by Rachel Richmond is reminiscent of stylish Noir films like 2011’s Drive.

The track itself features some haunting vocals from Bravington and Perry over some sexy guitar and unerring drum beats creating plenty of atmosphere before building to a driving climax at the back end of the track as the duo lament a struggling relationship.

‘Baby Bye Bye’ is off Longterm Romance’s four track EP which you can find over on their SoundCloud and Spotify and you can catch them supporting Flowertruck at the Gasometer later this month.
