With the announcement of their upcoming debut album The Rhapsody Tapes, Melbourne band Ocean Grove have given eager fans a taste of what’s to come with their latest single ‘Intimate Alien’.

The single is the second to be released from the LP, which is due to drop on February 3rd via UNFD.

The track itself takes on a different vibe compared to their preceding single; ‘Intimate Alien’ dons a combination of punchy bass, gritty vocals and spectral synths to boot, creating an intense but at times ambient feel.

The song shifts seamlessly between the eerie verses and in-your-face chorus – Ocean Grove have truly honed in on a style that is unique to their sound.

The band have released a fitting music video for the single which is as peculiar as you’d expect it to be and an exciting indication as to what the new album might deliver.

Ocean Grove are set to perform at Unify Festival on Friday the 13th of January and are currently supporting The Amity Affliction on a series of dates.
