Memphis soul original and Hi Records hit maker Don Bryant has announced his return to music with Don’t Give Up On Love, set for release on Friday May 12 on Fat Possum Records via Inertia Music.
The new album is Don’s first release in decades, and the first song from the album to be dropped is ‘How Do I Get There’.
In this single, Don Bryant talks about his personal trials faced with war, sickness and hatred. He invites us to remember the lives that we’ve lost. ‘How Do I Get There’ reminds us of a world of devastation, but also shines a light of hope and a fundamental belief that a better world is attainable. A Memphis soul original with a phenomenal voice, this is sure to be one of the most exciting records of the year.
