Singer-songwriter Nathan Hawes has returned to the music world after disappearing almost two years ago, only to surprise us with his latest musical offering – KESMAR.
The young Aussie artist has taken a bold direction in his music with his debut single ‘Feel It Again’, channelling delicate synths reminiscent of the 70’s, with a groovy dance floor beat that’ll have you nodding along.
With the fresh single being brought to life in just a day’s work, Hawes made the most of experimenting with this track alongside co-writer Will Cuming and co-producer Tobias Priddle. Spanning his newfound genre, Hawes incorporates guitar, bass and synths with evolving his brand imagery through bright visuals. Hawes is determined to tread in unfamiliar territory, even if it means taking time off to achieve it. Now that’s a dedicated artist!
Feel It Again explores the doubts and brief loss of direction that everyone experiences following the aftermath of a tough breakup. His single, inspired by a breakup at the time, has reenergised his artistic vision, serving us with this new disco funk that will be a top party favourite.
His new image and sound has certainly proved to have been worth the two year wait with many already embracing his new electro style.
Since the release of his new single, Feel It Again is currently sitting at number 25 on the Spotify – @spotifyaunz viral Top 50.
Kesmar will be performing a live show for the first time in two years, launching his new single at The Lansdowne Hotel in Sydney this November 7. For tickets to attend this show click here.
A 2019 show supporting Vera Blue is scheduled for February 8 at Melbourne Zoo. For ticket info, click here.
