Coming off the back of his new album, I’m Comin’ On blues revivalist and Sydney native Jesse Redwing give us his brand new video for the track ‘Boogie’.
In his latest offering, Jesse Redwing and his accompanying troupe bring us a blues driven groove fest that wouldn’t sound out of place on a street corner in New Orleans. With a deep, haunting nature to his vocals, Jesse Redwing commands the track through its whiskey soaked pleas and paranoid neurosis. Keeping true to its title, the driving bass line and jammed out guitar take us on a nicotine stained trip all the way back to the 60’s.
Jesse and co. are fast solidifying their name on the Australian blues circuit. Debut album, I’m Comin’ On has been met with praise for its contemporary exploration into the blues. With our heroes of yesteryear dying off fast, we can sleep easy knowing we have Jesse to keep the flame burnin’.
