Northern Queensland is well known for cane toads, hot weather and cyclones. Not music festivals. The Grass is Greener festival, based in Cairns and Mackay, is doing an amazing job in trying to change that. Last year Cairns and Mackay were left reeling after the best of the best of Australia’s musical talent graced the stages of the Grass is Greener. Artists included Will Sparks, Hermitage and Ivan Ooze, to name but a few. However, the Grass is Greener Festival has just announced this year’s lineup and it seems they have aimed up big time and scored some even more impressive Australian acts.
