Bendigo’s indie trio Fountaineer have dropped a new feel-good video for their single ‘Words With Friends’.

The video buoyantly tackles the idea of forcing certain ideals onto others versus using creativity and imagination to ignite a flame for change (and also making us crave fruit and ice-cream, to be honest).

Directed by Dylan Harris who also worked on the band’s video for ‘Still Life’, the clip is fitting to the song’s dainty and nonchalant style. The track itself has earned itself significant airplay in the month since its release and the announcement of the video is sure to revitalize it.

In addition to the video release, the band have also been announced as supporting acts for Middle Kids on the Melbourne leg of their headlining tour in April.

Fountaineer are set to play a residency at the Gasometer Hotel as well as an appearance at The Hills Are Alive festival.
