FOMO is a festival that takes its name seriously. Just one glance at the brand slogan and you know where you’re at – ONE STAGE. NO CLASHES. PARTY TOGETHER. It’s a formula that hands down guarantees that punters won’t ever have to feel that awful sinking sensation; that cold sweat that hits when you realise that your two favourite acts for the day are playing at the exact same time, leaving you standing dead-centre in the ultimate FOMO trap.
Melbourne fans have been waiting a solid minute or two down here in our own FOMO trap, patiently holding our breath in wait for the festival to breach our borders – having seen it expand from native Brisbane to both Sydney and often-forgotten Adelaide in 2017. Thankfully, this year the crew at FOMO have us covered.
The Melbourne-only event FOMO BY NIGHT is set to shake the foundations of Festival Hall on Thursday, January 11 with a massive line-up headlined by Canada’s critically acclaimed DJ de Force KAYTRANADA playing alongside big-hitters Post Malone, SZA, The Kite String Tangle and a slew of acts to keep you feeling fresh all the way through one hot-ass Melbourne Summer night.
