Everyone’s favorite Brisbane indie rockers Ball Park Music have finally announced details for their upcoming 5th studio album. A very excited Ball Park have revealed the name, release date and cover art for the brand new album which you will be able to get your hands early 2018.

The brand new album, GOOD MOOD is set for release on February 23, 2018 and is the bans follow up to the hugely successful Every Night The Same Dream from 2016 which peaked at number 3 on the ARIA album charts. The album was recorded in the bands hometown of Brisbane and features an eye catching album cover.

Ball Park Music front man Sam Cromack explained the meaning behind the striking image “I basically got obsessed with images of horses rearing. It’s such a powerful look. We thought it’d make for an amazing cover. We had the idea to shoot it out the front of our studio. It’s such an industrial shit-hole and we knew it would look wild. The whole concept just seemed so ridiculous. It went hand-in-hand with the album title and I knew in my heart it would be excellent if we could pull it off.”

Ball Park have been keeping busy, not only recording GOOD MOOD, but they recently put their on spin on Aussie classic ‘My Happiness’ by Powderfinger for Triple J‘s Like a Version. They are also gearing up for a busy summer, performing at Festival of the Sun in Port Macquarie, NYE on the Hill in Victoria and Party in the Paddock in Tasmania, before heading on their national tour in February with support from Ali Barter and Hatchie.
