Grammy nominated pianist Alfredo Rodriquez will be making his way to Australia for the very first time to play a series of shows in Sydney and Melbourne this March.

The jazz artist will play a single show at The Basement in Sydney followed by three consecutive shows in Melbourne at Bird’s Basement. The shows will kick off in Sydney on Sunday 12th of March and continue in Melbourne on Tuesday 14th – Thursday 16th of March.

His most recent album Tocororo represents Rodriguez’s experiences with the cross pollination of his Cuban roots with that of other cultures he has encountered and features a multicultural display of creativity with the likes of Ibrahim Maalouf from Lebanon and Indian vocalist Ganavya.

Tickets for the tour are on sale now and can be purchased from Moshtix for Sydney and via Bird’s Basement for Melbourne.
