(*drumroll*) Sydney duo Polish Club have unveiled their music video for ‘Divided’, the third single off their punchy debut album Alright Already.
Polish Club (John-Henry on the drums and Novak doing the vocals) belt out tunes louder and twice as big as the sum of their parts (and yeah, they’re sort of Polish). ‘Divided’ is the hearty and explosive ballad off their blistering debut album which earned them a spot in the ARIA Top 20 and was Triple J’s feature album of the week.
The song and accompanying music video is “about being stubborn and internalising in a relationship. Not being able to admit things aren’t working and lying to yourself” says Novak, who turns on another cathartic vocal performance as drummer John-Henry summons a king tide of emotion on crashing cymbals.
The pair released the music video on the eve of their national tour. They will continue sweating up a storm in venues across Australia with their raucous and soulful Rock n Roll.
