Folk duo Deer Prudence are set to release their self-titled EP on Friday 17 February. Their new single ‘Judgement Call’, showcases the pair’s resounding harmonies, lyrical slide guitar, and a quintessential folk sound which channels the likes of Eva Cassidy, Neil Young and Bonnie Raitt.

Hailing from Bendigo, VIC, the folk outfit have seen themselves perform at a variety of festivals, such as Major’s Creek Festival, Wintermoon Festival and Uranquity Folk Festival.

2016 saw Deer Prudence win the Ros Hales Young Women In Music Award, as well as releasing their single ‘Sam’s Lament’. With a new EP already set for a release, 2017 seems to have lots in store for this independent folk duo.

You can catch Deer Prudence launch their EP at Goldmines, Bendigo (19th February) and The Spotted Mallard, Brunswick (25th February).
